Setting Up a Bid

An administrator sets up the schedule bidding definition and indicates when employees may bid on available shifts or shift patterns. Based on the schedule bidding definition and employee bids, the Schedule Bidding module automatically assigns shifts or shift patterns to employees.

You must set up two bidding administration entities:

  • Bid group (and assign employees to a bid group)
  • Schedule bid
