Metadata model

Workforce Performance securely presents data through the Infor Workforce Management metadata model. The metadata model is required for the included application reports and is used to author custom reports.

The metadata model is organized as a star schema to centralize measures. Measures are placed at the intersection of their associated dimensions, which are identified using dimension keys. Examples of measures in the metadata model include work hours, balance days, cost of work, clocks, absence hours, OTE points, and scheduled hours. Examples of dimensions include time, time codes, hour types, balance types, employees, teams, and jobs.

Workforce Performance uses the team security model in Infor Workforce Management to automatically filter data. This ensures users can only view information they are authorized to see.

See the Infor Workforce Management Metadata Model Reference Guide for details on the core metadata model, including the design and contents of the available namespaces.
