Budget rules applied when present in any Auto-Assignment group

When generating a schedule using multiple Auto-Assignment groups, the Schedule to Budget or Maximum Schedule Budget rules are applied when these rules are used in any one of the selected groups. The rule is applied as a hard constraint if it is used as a hard constraint in any of the groups.

See "Budget rules with multiple Auto-Assignment groups" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.

Display schedule crossover shifts in the LFSO Schedule screen

Shifts that crossover between schedule periods are displayed in the LFSO Schedule screen. Shifts that start in the currently displayed schedule period and end in the next schedule period are displayed in the Daily and Weekly tabs as editable shifts. Shifts that start in the previous schedule period and end in the currently displayed schedule period are only displayed in the Daily tab as read-only shifts.

See "Displaying schedule crossover shifts in the LFSO Schedule screen" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.

Exclude premiums in Daily view hour columns

Premium hours, such as overtime premium hours added by pay rule adjustments, can be excluded from the totals displayed in additional hour columns in the Daily tab of the LFSO Schedule screen. This is done by selecting the Exclude Premium check box when creating an additional hours column.

See "Additional hour columns" in the Infor Workforce Management LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.

Generate shifts crossing multiple schedule periods

The Enforce Schedule Crossover check box can be selected when using Auto-Assignment to generate an LFSO schedule. This option enables the generation of shifts that overlap the end of the schedule period and continue into the next schedule period. This avoids generating schedules where groups of shifts end exactly at the end of the schedule period.

When generating schedules using the Enforce Schedule Crossover option, Auto-Assignment considers the workload for the current schedule period and the next schedule period. The workload for these periods can be derived from the forecast, manually generated, or can follow the location minimums. It is recommended that customers using this feature create forecasts or workload for the full week after the schedule period being generated.

See "Generate shifts crossing multiple schedule periods" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.

Schedule edit override callout

Customers can define a callout class to enable custom functionality when users perform schedule edits in the LFSO Schedule screen. The class for this callout is specified in the ScheduleEditOverrideCallout registry parameter.

See "Schedule edit override callout" in the Infor Workforce Management LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.

Top Performer Preferences Auto-Assignment rule

The Top Performer Preferences rule has been added to Auto-Assignment to schedule the highest performing employees during peaks in staffing demand. When this rule is used, the employee sort orders selected for the Auto-Assignment group determine the top performing employees for the purposes of this rule. The Top Performer Preferences rule can only be used as a preference, and it can only be used when generating LFSO schedules.

See "Top Performer Preferences rule" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.

Willingness to avoid overstaffing __ and understaffing __ schedule rule

The Willingness to avoid overstaffing __ and understaffing __ rule has been added to the Schedule Rules for the LFSO Staff Groups model. This rule allows customers to specify their preference for overstaffing or understaffing in generated schedules.

See "Preferences" in the Infor Workforce Management LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.
