LFSO
Asynchronous forecast generation
Manual forecasts can be configured to be performed asynchronously. This is useful for customers implementing machine learning forecasting, because the system performs the entire forecasting process on the job scheduler. This removes the requirement to copy the model files generated during training to the application server.
Asynchronous forecast generation is enabled by specifying true in the ENABLE_FORECAST_ASYNC_TASK registry parameter. You also must schedule an Asynchronous Processing Task to the job scheduler using the FORECAST ASYNC TASK job type. Users that manually create a forecast then receive a message to confirm that the forecast is being generated and a Workmail message when the forecast is ready.
See "Forecast Aynsc Task" in the Infor Workforce Management LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.
Auto-Assignment employee filter enhancements
These enhancements have been added to Auto-Assignment group filters:
- The
Employee Full Time Filter
can be added to select employees based on full time status. - The
Employee VAL Filter
can be added to select employees that match values in a specified VAL field. - The Exclude Job check box can be selected in
the
Employee Job Filter
to exclude employees with specified jobs. - An assumed team filter is applied to Auto-Assignment groups that do not have an
Employee Team Filter
orEmployee Job Filter
. The assumed filter selects all employees from the team or teams specified in the group's field. - Auto-Assignment executes the
Employee Team Filter
andEmployee Job Filter
before any other filters. This improves performance by reducing the number of employees that must be included in certain queries.
See "Employee filters" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.
Auto-Assignment team filter can select employees based on teams or locations being scheduled
The Employee Team
Filter
in Auto-Assignment has been updated to add a Select team(s) based on schedule location(s) check box.
This check box configures the filter to select employees based on the locations or teams
that are being scheduled. For LFSO schedules, this selects employees that are associated, by
team membership, with any stores being scheduled. For MVS schedules, this selects any
employees that are members of teams selected in ASV when the user initiates an
Auto-Assignment process.
See "Employee Team Filter" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.
Auto-Assignment sort order to prefer home team assignments
The Employee Home Team
Sort Order
can be selected when creating Auto-Assignment groups. When assigning a
shift, this sort order gives higher priority to employees that have the Home Team check box selected for the shift's team.
See "Employee Home Team Sort Order" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.
Auto-Assignment sort order to prioritize employees based on full time status
The Employee Full Time
Sort Order
can be added to Auto-Assignment groups to prioritize employees with
full time status when assigning shifts. Full time status is determined by the Full Time field (EMP_FULLTIME) in the employee profile.
See "Employee Full Time Sort Order" in the Infor Workforce Management Auto-Assignment Implementation Guide.
Custom Cost callout supports additional fields and views
The Custom Cost callout has been updated to support four additional custom cost fields. Customers implementing the callout may display up to 12 custom cost fields. The callout has also been updated to allow customers to implement different cost calculation logic when the schedule is viewed in the Daily, Weekly, or Monthly tabs in the LFSO Schedule screen.
See "Custom Cost callout interface" in the Infor Workforce Management LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.
Number of scheduled days added to Weekly and Monthly tabs
Employee scheduled days are displayed in the LFSO Schedule screen in the Weekly and Monthly tabs. Employee scheduled days are displayed next to the scheduled hours in the Employee column.
See "Weekly schedule" and "Monthly schedule" in the Infor Workforce Management LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.
Schedule date range remembered when switching views
The LFSO Schedule screen has been updated to reload the previous date range selected using the arrow buttons when the user navigates between the Monthly tab and the Daily or Weekly tabs.
See "Date range when navigating tabs" in the Infor Workforce LFSO Implementation and Administration Guide.
Staffing rule to Auto-Assignment rule conversions
The Staff Group to Auto-Assignment Conversion Tool has been updated with these enhancements:
- Auto-Assignment groups created by the tool include an
Employee Team Filter
with the Select team(s) based on schedule locations check box selected. This enables schedule creation using migrated groups without requiring any additional changes. - The rule
Maximum X closing shifts per schedule
is converted to new Auto-Assignment groups by adding aMaximum Shifts Per Time Period
rule for CLOSING type shifts. - The rule
Prefer to schedule full-time employees
, if the drop down is set to , is converted by adding aEmployee Full Time Sort Order
to the Auto-Assignment group.
