Multiview Scheduler (MVS)

Ability to automatically remove vacant MR and OTS shifts from relief upon unassignment

You can use the REMOVE_VACANT_SHIFTS_FROM_RELIEF_UPON_UNASSIGNING registry parameter to configure if unassigned shifts created from a Master Rotation (MR) or One-time Schedule (OTS) are removed from relief when assigned and then unassigned. When one of these shifts is assigned, the shift is placed into the relief process with a relief status of FILLED. This registry parameter can be set to false to maintain these shifts in the relief process if they are then unassigned. Upon unassignment, the shift's relief status is updated to UNFILLED. Because unassigned MR or OTS rows cannot be assigned or re-activated for periods containing relief shifts, this prevents the row from being assigned or re-activated for periods that overlap the shift date.

When this registry parameter is set to true, shifts from unassigned rows are still placed in the relief process upon assignment. However, if one of these shifts is then unassigned, the shift is removed from the relief process. Users can then assign or re-activate the unassigned row for periods overlapping the shift date.

See “Relief shifts and unassigned shifts in rotations” in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Configure displayed date range in the Offer via Mobility pop-up in ASV

You can configure the Offer via Mobility pop-up in ASV to control the date range of the schedule displayed for the selected employees. The VIEW_DATE_RANGE_IN_OFFER_VIA_MOBILITY registry parameter can be set to DEFAULT to display three days before and after the date of the shift being offered. You can specify WORK_WEEK to display the week that includes the shift being offered.

See "Configuring the date range for the Offer via Mobility pop-up in ASV" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Mobile Shift Offer in Central Staffing

Users can use Mobile Shift Offer in Central Staffing to offer unassigned shifts to employees by phone, text message, or email. Users can select which employees the shifts are offered to in a pop-up. Active shift offers can also be canceled.

The right-click menu options to use Mobile Shift Offer are hidden by default using security permissions. They can be exposed in Config mode.

See "Broadcasting a mobile offer in Central Staffing" in the Infor Workforce Management Multiview Scheduler User Guide.

Improved message in ASV for concurrent transactions

The message text has been improved to be more descriptive when a user edits a shift in ASV that cannot be edited at the time due to a concurrent transaction.

Index added to Master Rotation One-time Schedule table

An index has been added to the ROTROW_ID column in the ES_ROW_LM table. This improves performance by allowing the system to avoid performing full scans of this table when users perform actions in Master Rotations and One-time Schedules.

MVS callouts supported in custom scripting

These callouts are now supported using the custom scripting framework:

  • Book-off Code Validation
  • Shift Edit Validation
  • Shift Summary UDF and Flag Mapper
