Offline page and clocking

Note: The mobile offline feature does not work when accessing Mobile WFM from Infor Ming.le or Infor Go.

When connectivity to the WFM servers is lost, an offline page is displayed on the user's mobility browser instead of the expected page. While offline, the system will automatically attempt to re-establish the connection every minute. Users can also initiate another connection attempt by tapping the Try again link. If connectivity has been restored, then the user will be redirected to the login page. If connectivity has not been restored, then the page will refresh and the offline page will be re-displayed.

The administrator can enable offline clocking to allow users to record clocking events while offline. When offline clocking is enabled, users can record real-time clocking events from the mobility offline page if no connection is available. All of the clock presets displayed as buttons on the Clock widget are also available on the offline page.

To record an offline clock, users must confirm their username and select the appropriate clock. These offline clocks are stored in the local storage of the user's browser until a connection has been re-established. When the connection has been re-established, any offline clocks are converted to pending clock transactions for processing by the system.
