Employee shift patterns

Note: Hours of operation are required, though a default set may be configured and assigned to all locations.

Employee shift patterns let you set up a rotation of one or more weeks and assign the rotation to an employee. This rotation pre-populates the View a Schedule page, allowing for edits instead of requiring the employee to re-enter shift information from week to week.

The View a Schedule page requires the department, job, and activity as part of the shift pattern. These parts of the shift pattern can be specified on the Employee Shift Pattern form found at Scheduling > Schedule Optimization > Setup > Employee Shift Pattern.
