Batch forecast creation
Forecasts are typically generated using batch forecast generation in production. This can
be used to forecast all required stores across the entire organization on a recurring basis,
for example once a week.
Batch forecast creation is configured by scheduling one or more Batch Forecasting tasks in the job scheduler. This task generates the forecast for the specified location each time it runs. The location can be a store to generate the forecast for a single store. It can also be a corporate entity to generate the forecast across its sub-locations. The parameters in the forecast task control the length of generated forecasts and the forecast start date.
