Overview

The Virtual Clock is a Java application that allows employees to perform clock and labor metric punches on a personal computer or other Java-enabled device. Punches are immediately validated by the Clock Server (WBCS), unless the WBCS or network is temporarily unavailable. If the WBCS or network is unavailable, the punch data is stored locally on the Virtual Clock and submitted once the connection is restored.

The Virtual Clock is designed to be accessed using a touch screen, mouse or keyboard.
