Using Admin Console to purge the clock database

You can use Admin Console to purge all data from the database of your 9000 Series clock.

To purge the database using Admin Console:

  1. Connect to your clock. For more information on how to do this, see Using Administration Console to connect to your clock.
  2. Select Server Actions > Purge Database.
  3. The clock displays a warning message stating that if you continue all master and transactional data in the database will be deleted and would you like to continue.
  4. Select OK to continue or Cancel to end the operation.
  5. If you select OK the clock displays a warning message that the process cannot be reversed and would you like to continue.
  6. Select OK to begin the purging of your database.

After the database purge is complete, you will see a message on the Status panel of Admin Console that the purge has completed and how long it took.

You can also select Reload Data to confirm that your data has been removed from the database.

All purging actions are also logged in the clock log.
