Single Finger Scanner

The single finger scanner verifies employee identities using the employee’s finger print. The scanner photographs your fingerprint when you punch the clock. The scanner compares the photo to the picture of your fingerprint stored in the clock. If the scan matches your picture, your clock punch is successful.

Before you can use your fingerprint to verify your identity, you need to register your fingerprint. Registering your fingerprint is called enrolling. See Enrolling Employees.

If the WB2000 is setup to accept your fingerprint, a fingerprint scanner is installed on the top of the clock on the left hand side.
