Exporting worksheet data

To export Worksheet data:

  1. Select Maintenance > Optional Modules > Labor Budgeting > Labor Budgeting Worksheet.
  2. Click Export.
  3. Select an option:
    • To view the file, click Open.

The file opens in Microsoft Excel, if it is installed and configured as the default application for opening CSV files. Otherwise, the file opens in a text editor. If no application is specified to open CSV files, you may be prompted to specify an application or save the file.

    • To save the file, click Save.

      • Specify the location for saving the file.
      • Optional. Specify the file name. The default file name is the layout name.
The exported CSV file includes all the columns of the layout, including the State and Messages columns. However, the locations and time periods are not indented in the CSV file. Similarly, the column group names, such as Hours and Payroll, are not displayed in the CSV file.

Exporting the file removes the separator in the number, uses a dot for the decimal point, and a comma to demarcate the columns. For example, 1,000.01 or 1.000,01 on the Worksheet are displayed as 1000.01 after export.
