Modifying policy parameters

  1. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Archiving > Archiving Policy Definitions.
The Archiving Policy Definitions Details page is displayed.
  2. Click the Edit link for any of the Labor Budgeting archiving policy definitions.
For the list of these definitions, see Setting Up Archiving and Purging Policies.
  3. Specify this information:
    Type

This required field specifies the transaction type, which can be either ARCHIVE or PURGE.

Aging Days -- For Purge Only

This required field specifies the number of days that data remains in the database before it is purged.

The default value for this field is 99999, which is specified in the ARCHIVE_POLICY_AGING_DAYS registry parameter.

    Enabled

This check box determines whether the policy is active or inactive.

For the policy to be active, the ARCHIVE_MODE_ENABLED registry parameter must be set to True. If this registry is set to False, the policy remains inactive even if you enable this feature.

  4. Click Save.

Use the following paths to locate the ARCHIVE_POLICY_AGING_DAYS and ARCHIVE_MODE_ENABLED registry parameters:

Maintenance > System Administration > Registry Maintenance > system > archiving

For more information about these registry parameters, see the Infor WFM Registry Parameter Reference Guide.
