Time periods

A time period is the window of time within which an employee's events are considered when determining how many points an employee has accrued as of any given date. For example, an employee's violations are tracked on a rolling year basis. If today is September 23, 2015, then the system considers all the points the employee has logged between September 23, 2014 and September 23, 2015. Points that were logged before the earliest date are forgiven.
