Time and Attendance

Rehiring fixed-term employees in a single import transaction

Using the Employee Import, you can now import a re-hired fixed contract employee (an existing employee with a new hire date and a known termination date) using one CSV import file. Previously, you required two CSV files to get the correct team assignments. The first file was used to change the employee's home team as of their hire date and the second file was used to assign the employee to the TERMINATED TEAM as of their termination date. With this enhancement, you can now specify an employee's contract information (hire date, team assignment, and termination date) in one CSV file.

See "Termination date" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

Good and bad hour types for accruals

When setting up accruals, you can now specify hour types that are considered "good" or "bad" for determining if an employee is eligible for the accrual. For example, setting the good hour type to OT means the employee must work a certain amount of overtime before they receive the accrual. Setting the bad hour type to SICK means the employee can only take a certain amount of sick days while still being eligible to receive the accrual.

See "Creating accruals" in the Infor Workforce Management Balances and Accruals User Guide.

Employment Type, Work Type, and FTE fields now displayed on employee profile

The Employment Type, Work Type, and FTE fields are now displayed on the Employee and Employee - Basic Information Override forms by default, similar to other employee profile attributes.

Note: If the default permission settings for these fields were changed, those settings are retained after an upgrade.

Survey toolkit

The new survey toolkit framework for mobility extends the functionality of the existing employee wellness check. The survey toolkit supports multiple question prompts, with subsequent prompts based on the answer to the previous prompt. You can view the results of surveys in the Employee Survey Results maintenance form for auditing purposes. Using the Exists Clock Token Condition, you can limit the execution of certain rules to situations in which specific clock tokens have been applied to a timesheet based on responses to a survey.

Note: For customers using the existing employee wellness check, the functionality has been migrated to the new survey toolkit. For more information, see Deprecated features.

See "Survey toolkit" in the Infor Workforce Management Mobility Administrator Guide.

Set the format of the days of the week in Daily Timesheet

You can set the format of the days of the week in the Daily Timesheet by configuring the SHOW_SHORT_WEEK_DAY registry parameter. By default, the short day format ("Mon") is shown, but you can update the registry to show the full format ("Monday") instead.

Note: This registry setting does not affect the Supervisor Approval Worksheet, Weekly Timesheet, or mobility.

See the Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference Guide for more information.
