Multiview Scheduler (MVS)

Ability to bypass team validation when assigning shifts in ASV and Central Staffing

The SKIP_EMPLOYEE_TEAM_VALIDATION registry parameter has been updated to also disable team permission validation in ASV and Central Staffing. When this registry parameter is set to true, users can assign employees to shifts even when the user does not have team permission for any of the teams the employee is a member of on the shift date.

See "Disable team permission validation on assignment in ASV" and "Disable team permission validation on assignment in Central Staffing" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Ability to hide Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in Central Staffing

A security configuration option has been added to hide the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) panel in Central Staffing. Security configuration options have also been added to hide individual KPIs from being displayed in the KPI panel.

See "Hiding KPIs in Central Staffing" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Display team descriptions in MVS scheduling screens

MVS scheduling screens can now be configured to display either the team description (WBT_DESC) or team name (WBT_NAME) in non-configurable fields. When the DISPLAY_TEAM_BY_NAME registry parameter is set to false, the team description is displayed. When the registry parameter is set to true, the team name is displayed.

See "Displaying WBT_DESC in scheduling screens" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Central Staffing reloads last schedule

Central Staffing saves the last schedule loaded by each user. This schedule is reloaded when the user reopens Central Staffing after navigating to another page or logging out of the application. The reloaded schedule includes the date and times selected by the user. It also includes the selected units and selection parameters in both the Schedule Zone and Float Pool Zone.

Expose Central Staffing link for new installs and upgrades

Permissions have been updated to expose the Central Staffing link and screen. In upgrades, users in the SYSTEM ADMINS and SUPERVISORS groups are given EDIT permission only if the default permissions (DENY for SYSTEM ADMIN and SUPERVISORS groups) have not previously been changed. This allows users in the SYSTEM ADMINS and SUPERVISORS groups to access Central Staffing and use it to modify schedules.

For new installs, users in the SYSTEM ADMINS and SUPERVISORS groups are given EDIT permission for Central Staffing by default. The Staffing Center link is also hidden for all security groups in new installs.

Pending time off requests overlapping schedule changes rejected during MR or OTS processing

A validation has been added to ensure that users publishing a rotation have approval permission for any time off types that are being rejected. Processing a rotation rejects any unapproved time off requests that overlap shift or assignment changes performed in the rotation since the last time the rotation was processed. Unapproved time off requests are also rejected for employees that have been terminated and removed from their rotation row before processing.

See "Unapproved time off requests and rotation publishing" in the Infor Workforce Management Multiview Scheduler User Guide.

Shift font colors displayed in MR, OTS, and Central Staffing

Shift labels are displayed using the font colors from shift configuration in the MR and OTS edit screens. Shift labels are displayed in color in the Shift Palette and the Schedule Table. Schedules that are printed to PDF include the same coloring for shift labels.

Shift labels are also displayed using the font colors from shift configuration in Central Staffing. This affects shift cards displayed in both the Schedule Zone and Float Pool Zone.
