Multiview Scheduler (MVS)

Disable automatic scrolling on assignment actions in ASV

Added the ASV_ENABLE_AUTOSCROLL registry parameter to configure ASV to vertically scroll to focus on the updated schedule rows when assignment and unassignment actions are performed. Vertical scrolling is enabled when this registry parameter is set to true, and is disabled when this registry parameter is set to false.

See "ASV_ENABLE_AUTOSCROLL" in the Infor Workforce Management Registry Parameter Reference Guide.

Enhanced sort options in MR/OTS

A default sort order can be selected when creating a Master Rotation (MR) or One-time Schedule (OTS) using the team or individual employees options. Rows can be sorted by employee name or employee ID in ascending or descending order. The MR or OTS is displayed in the default sort order each time it is edited.

The temporary sort options in the MR/OTS edit screens have also been enhanced to allow users to select a secondary sort criteria and sort rows by employee name.

See "Row sorting, row names, and row ranks" in the Infor Workforce Management Multiview Scheduler User Guide.

Re-generate shift templates

Shift templates can be regenerated for schedule periods that the shift template has already been generated for. Using the Send to Relief Queue option, this generates an additional copy of all the shifts defined in the shift template. When using the Create as unpublished shifts option, this replaces any shifts that may have been deleted since the shift template was originally generated.

See "Schedule generation" in the Infor Workforce Management Multiview Scheduler User Guide.

Schedule cleanup for teams and employees

Team schedule cleanup cleans all schedule data related to a team for a future date range. This can be used to clear out shifts from employee schedules for teams that are eliminated due to organizational changes. Team schedule cleanup processes can be manually initiated and are performed by the job scheduler using the Team Schedule Cleanup Task.

Employee schedule cleanup cleans all schedule data for the specified employee during a future date range. This can be useful for clearing an employee's schedule when they are transferred to a new home team. Employee schedule cleanup processes can be manually initiated and are performed by the job scheduler using the Schedule Cleanup Task.

See "Schedule Cleanup" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Scroll position saved when expanding Central Staffing KPI panel

Central Staffing has been updated to preserve the scroll position in the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) panel when users collapse and expand the panel. The scroll position is not saved when a user leaves the Central Staffing screen or in presets.

Select default row costing when creating MR/OTS

The Row Costing drop-down menu can be used to select the default set of labor metrics for all rows when creating a Master Rotation (MR) or One-time Schedule (OTS). When creating a new rotation for an entire team or for a group of selected employees, rows can use the labor metrics from their assigned employee's default labor allocation. Rows can also use the labor metrics that are manually selected for the row.

System health check for MVS labor metrics

The MVS Configuration tag has been added to the System Health Check. When selected, this tag confirms that there are labor metrics for Department, Project, and Docket with a name of "0." When MVS schedules are published to the timesheet, these labor metrics are applied to MVS shifts if these fields are not specified. System errors can occur when publishing MVS schedules if the 0 Department, 0 Project, or 0 Docket do not exist.

The tests for the MVS Configuration tag check each labor metric separately, and an error is issued if the 0 Department, 0 Project, or 0 Docket do not exist.

See "Test and tag reference" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

Unlock expired shift trade requests

The EMVS - Unlock Shift Task has been updated to unlock shifts that have pending shift trade requests when the current time is after the shift start time. The current time is based on the local time zone for the job scheduler.

See "Unlock Shift Task" in the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide.

Warning messages for shift edits that would cancel Shift Billboard postings

When editing a shift that has been posted to the Shift Billboard, ASV and Central Staffing display messages informing the user that proceeding with the transaction will remove the shift billboard posting. The messages ask if the user wants to confirm the transaction.
