Error messages

You can view the logs in the Job Scheduler or the Import Transactions page for errors during an Employee Job Import. See Job Scheduler.

Errors are also shown in the Import Log Report. See the Infor Workforce Management Workforce Performance Implementation and Administration Guide.

These error messages are possible for an Employee Job Import:

Error Message Description
Error: {EMP_NAME /JOB_NAME/START_DATE/END_DATE/ACTION} cannot be null. Required fields cannot be null.
Error: Employee {x} was not found. The employee was not found.
Error: Job {x} was not found. The job was not found.
Error: job assignment to Job {x} for Employee {x} was not found. The job assignment was not found for an UPDATE action.
Error: job assignment has existing EMPJOB_WORKASSIGNMENT. The record in the import file has no EMPJOB_WORKASSIGNMENT and matches to a job assignment with an existing EMPJOB_WORKASSIGNMENT.
Error: EMPJOB_WORKASSIGNMENT exceeds the maximum field length of 20. The EMPJOB_WORKASSIGNMENT in the imported record is more than 20 characters.
Error: The number of Flags provided is incorrect All the required values for employee job flags have not been provided. The import expects 5 values to be provided for each employee job row.
JobRate {0} is not valid. The job rate is not a number.
JobRate Index {0} is not valid. The job rate index is not a number.
Work assignment number {0} is not valid. The work assignment number is not a number.
