Configuring Payroll Close notifications

Notifications come in the form of e-mails that are sent to the users involved in the Payroll Close process. For example, employees receive Timesheet Lockout notifications while payroll administrators receive notifications that notify them of the payroll readiness date or of any unauthorized records contained in a pay group involved in the Payroll Close process.

Before Payroll Close alerts can be used, the relevant notification task must be configured for each notification. The notification task is a Job Scheduler task that, once defined, activates the notification. The notification task specifies when and to whom the notifications are sent.
