Creating default labor metrics for a date range

Use the Employee Basic Information Override page to create default labor metrics that are only in effect for a given date range for an employee.

To create default labor metrics for a date range:

  1. Select Maintenance > Employees > Employee Basic Information - Override.
  2. Navigate to the Employee Labor Allocation section.
  3. Enter the information for the employee.
    After the employees' default labor allocation information is defined:
    • If company time is recorded using readers, every time an employee clocks on or clocks off at the reader, the clock is processed onto the employee’s timesheet and the resulting time is charged and recorded in accordance with the employee’s default labor allocation details.

    • Every time an authorized user updates an employee’s Daily Timesheet, time is charged and recorded in accordance with the employee’s default labor allocation details.

      Note:  Manual entries through the Timesheet (daily) page override the employee’s default labor allocation details if alternative values are specified.
