Localizing the language text of field and button names

The default language of the application is English (unless otherwise configured in the registry). By localizing field and button name language text, multilingual users of the same system can work in the language with which they are most comfortable. When language settings are configured, users can access the application in various languages.

For example, the EMP_BIRTH_DATE field name can be localized as follows:

  • "Birth Date" in the English language.
  • "Date de Naissance" in the French language.
Note: When localizing language text, fields that have not been localized to the language will continue to display names in the default locale.

If a user’s default language is English, the EMP_BIRTH_DATE field name is displayed as "Birth Date". If their default language is changed to Français, the EMP_BIRTH_DATE field name is displayed as "Date de Naissance".
