Work Summary Import Interface field specification

This table lists the field-column specifications of the Work Summary Import Interface. Fields with the asterisk symbol (*) are required.

2 WORK_DATE* Date YYYYMMDD Specifies the work date of the Work Summary Import detail.
3 OVERRIDE_TYPE* Numeric The digits 300-399. Negative numbers are not allowed. Specifies the override type for the Work Summary Import detail. The numeric value provided 300-399 should correspond with the configured override type numeric value in WFM.
4 WRKS_ERROR Varchar2 1000 Specifies the error message for the work summary override that is displayed on the timesheet.
5 WRKS_ERROR_STATUS Yes / No Y / N Flag to generate an error on the timesheet day.

If null, then do not change existing error status.

6 WRKS_AUTHORIZED Yes / No Y / N Flag to authorize or unauthorize the timesheet day.

If null, then do not change existing authorized state.

7 WRKS_MESSAGES Varchar2 1000 Specifies the work summary override message that is displayed on the timesheet.
8 WRKS_COMMENTS Varchar2 1000 Specifies the comment for the work summary override that is displayed on the timesheet.
9 CALCGRP_NAME Varchar2 40 Specifies the calculation group name for the work summary override.
10-19 WRKS_UDF[1..10] Varchar2 40 User defined fields. Use a space character in the field position to indicate no processing is to be performed for that field. An ampersand (&) in the field position indicates the field is to be blanked.
20-24 WRKS_FLAG[1..5] Varchar2 40 User defined flags. Use a space character in the flag position to indicate no processing is to be performed for that flag. An ampersand (&) in the flag position indicates the flag is to be blanked.
25 ACTION Varchar2 40 Indicates whether to append comments so that the existing work summary comments are not overwritten.

If the value is set to APPEND_COMMENTS, then the value specified in the WRKS_COMMENTS field is appended to the existing comments. When creating the relevant override, the existing and appended comments are separated by two dashes: "--".

If the value is set to blank, then the values specified including the WRKS_COMMENTS field overwrite the existing values when creating the relevant override. This is the default behavior.

Any other value results in a validation error.
