Claiming shifts in desktop view

Employees can use these steps to claim billboard shifts using a desktop or tablet.

  1. From the application menu, select My Schedule Hub.
  2. Click the Billboard tab.
  3. Click the date in the schedule to view available shifts on that date. Or, click the calendar button and select the date.
    The list of available shifts is displayed for the selected day. A warning icon is displayed for shifts that would cause a schedule compliance warning if claimed. Shifts are not displayed as available if they would cause a schedule compliance error if claimed. Shifts are also not displayed if they do not pass any of the basic shift claim validations.
  4. Click a shift.
    The details of the selected shift are displayed, including details for any schedule compliance warnings that would be caused by adding the shift to your schedule.
  5. Click Claim Shift.
    The claim request starts the workflow process. A message is displayed to notify you of the status of your claim request.
  6. Click OK.
When the claim request is accepted, the shift is added to the employee's schedule.
