Default withdrawal workflow

The default withdrawal workflow determines the users that are notified and the records created when shift posts are removed from the billboard. This workflow accepts all transactions that remove shift postings from the billboard.

These actions are performed when shifts are removed from the billboard using the default withdrawal workflow:
  • If the shift post was canceled by a manager, a workmail is sent to the posting employee to notify them that the shift post has been canceled. The workmail includes name of the manager that canceled the shift post. A workmail is not sent if the shift post was canceled by the employee that posted the shift.
  • If the shift post was withdrawn by the Reject Expired Posting task, a workmail is sent to the posting employee to notify them that the shift post has expired.
  • If the shift post was withdrawn by the Reject Schedule Compliance Violated task, a workmail is sent to the posting employee to notify them that the shift post was removed due to a schedule compliance error.
  • Workmail for supervisor approvals that are still pending are removed from the supervisor's inbox. These workmails can be related to the request to post the shift or to requests to claim the shift.
  • Workmails are sent to employees with pending claim requests to inform them the shift is no longer available.
  • A record is added to Shift History if the posted shift was created in MVS.
