Showing shift labels in the schedule day card collapsed view

By default, the collapsed view of the schedule day card shows the start and end time of the shift. For clients using shift labels to denote shifts, you can configure the schedule day card to show the shift label instead of, or in addition to, the shift start and end times.

  1. Tap Home on the application menu.
  2. Tap the Settings button at the bottom of the application menu to enter config mode.
  3. Tap the configuration icon second from the right at the top of the page.
  4. In the Shift Card section, tap the security icon beside Home Schedule Shift Label.
The Security Configuration window is displayed for the PORTAL_HOME_SCHEDULE_SHIFT_LABEL element.
  5. For each security group, select view from the Permission Flag drop-down to show the shift label or select Deny to hide the shift label.
  6. Tap Save and close the window.
  7. Optionally, tap the security icon beside Home Schedule Shift Time to hide the shift start and end times.
  8. Tap the Settings button at the bottom of the application menu to leave config mode.
  9. Reload the page for the changes to take effect.

When the ASV_SHOW_MODIFICATION_INDICATOR registry parameter is set to true, an asterisk symbol is displayed after the shift label value (for example, 11D4*) to indicate that a shift has been modified from the original created version of the shift. Modifications can include changes to start and end times, labor metrics, activities, skills, UDFs, and flags.
