Default application
You can select the default application for users based on their security group. The
default application can be the Self Service Portal or the Admin Portal (desktop application).
Users having the Admin Portal as the default application are always directed to the desktop application upon log-in. Users having the Self Service Portal as the default application are always directed to the Self Service Portal upon log-in. Users with access to both applications can switch between them using an option in the menu.
For new implementations, the default application is assigned based on the security group of the user.

For upgrades for existing customers, the default application is not set. All users will continue to log in to the desktop application by default.
