Shift Billboard

Shift Billboard lets teams post shifts that can be claimed by employees that want to work the shifts. Managers can reduce understaffing by posting open shifts. Employees can increase control of their own schedules by posting shifts to the billboard and claiming shifts posted by managers or other employees. As a system administrator, you can hide the Shift Billboard buttons to disable this feature for users in specific security groups. Shift Billboard can be used for shifts that have been created in MVS or LFSO.

Shift Billboard transactions, including shift posting and claiming requests, must pass basic validations to ensure that the user's action is a valid request according to the configuration. Transactions also must complete a workflow before the changes are reflected in the schedule. The workflow sends messages to users that are required to make a decision to accept or reject transactions, such as team supervisors. Users that request transactions receive messages notifying them when the request has been accepted or rejected. The workflow can be customized to add additional approvals or validations based on custom conditions.

For information on how to use the Shift Billboard and for general configuration information, see the Infor Workforce Management Shift Billboard Implementation Guide.
