Starting, pausing, or closing a self-scheduling process

To start, pause, or close a self-scheduling process:

  1. Select Scheduling > Self-Scheduling > Process.
  2. Click Edit beside the process that you want to start, pause, or close.
  3. Select one of these states to apply to the process:
    • Open: Starts the self-scheduling process. Employees can self-schedule shifts when a process is open. You can only open a process that is Pending or Paused.
    • Close: Closes an open self-scheduling process. Employees can no longer access the RTSS to self-schedule shifts when the process is closed.
      Note: You cannot change the status once you have closed the process.
    • Pause: Interrupts an open self-scheduling process when you want to edit process information. Employees cannot self-schedule shifts when the process is in this state. To resume the process, select Open.
  4. Click Save.
