Running the application workflow provisioning process

To run the application workflow process to update your Birst content:

  1. Log in to your tenant and navigate to Birst.
  2. Click the Home button on the bottom left of the application.
  3. Click the {[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model} space.
  4. Click Copy Space.
  5. Take a backup of {[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Consumer} space and {[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model} space using this syntax:
    {zBackup_[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-[Consumer/Model]_DD_MM_YYYY}
  6. Click the {[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model} space.
  7. Select Admin > Modeler > space Management > command window.
  8. Repoint the package using this command in the command window:
    repointpackages {zBackup_[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Consumer} {[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model} {zBackup_[TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Model}
  9. Determine if the SMD spaces are displayed. If SMD spaces do not display in the spaces list, then you must sync user roles in user management so they are displayed in Birst.
  10. Run the application work flow named SMD WFM Operations Update in Orchestration and make sure it completes successfully.
  11. Verify that your reports are available in the [TENANT_NAME]-WFMOP-MT-Consumer space.
