SAW_LFSO_PAY_RULE_BASED_SCHED_COST_CALC

Description:

This parameter determines whether pay rules are taken into consideration when computing the values shown in the Sched $ fields in the Supervisor Approval Worksheet (SAW).

When set to TRUE, the SAW schedule cost calculation works with pay rules, which can provide more accurate costing. By enabling this feature, the Sched $ values in SAW are calculated using the employee's base rate and adjusted based on pay rules that are configured for the employee's calculation group. Any pay rules applicable to the employee's calculation group that generate a premium, overtime, or other value that increases or decreases the final schedule cost are taken into consideration when calculating the schedule cost.

This is the same calculation that is used in the LFSO schedule screens when the SO_PAY_RULE_BASED_SCHED_COST_CALC registry parameter is set to true and in the MVS schedule screens.

When set to FALSE, pay rules are not taken into consideration when computing the values shown in the Sched $ fields in SAW. This is the default.

Note: For both the scheduled hour and scheduled cost values, only shifts with a status of "P" (published) or "C" (common) are included in the calculations. Unpublished schedules or shifts are not included when calculating schedule cost or hours to be consistent with the scheduled shifts seen in the timesheet.
