SHIFT_PEAK_COVERAGE

Description:

This parameter indicates how much of a shift must cover the peak time before the shift can be considered preferred over other shift options. At the default of 0.75, at least 75% of the peak time must be covered by the shift before the shift can be preferred over other shift options. In order to prefer only shift choices that cover the entire peak, you may change this parameter to 1 (100%). However, if employee availability is restrictive, there may be times when no top performer can cover the entire peak time.

Note: If you are using the budget constraint of Do not exceed budget, you may need to lower the value of this parameter to 0 to avoid conflicts between the top performer feature and the budget rule. This will allow the shifts involving top performers to stand out and be visible to the internal WFM optimizer.
