Running the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report

If you have finished the required configuration steps, then you can run the report to generate a Workmail message for the user that runs the report. Both Excel and XML formatted reports are attached to the Workmail message and can be downloaded by the recipient of the Workmail message. A Job Scheduler task is used to generate the reports.

To run the report and generate the Workmail message with the report attached:

  1. Select Maintenance > Payroll Settings > Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS.
  2. Specify the report selection parameters as outlined in Selection parameters for the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report.
  3. Click Submit to run the report and generate a Workmail message with the report attached in Excel and XML formats.
    If the report is submitted successfully, then a confirmation message is displayed regarding the generated Workmail message and the attached reports.
Note: If you have issues running the report or do not receive a Workmail with the reports attached, then you must ensure the Job Scheduler task is running for the report to run successfully.
