One-time Schedule status
The status of a One-time Schedule (OTS) determines the OTS's current stage in the process of creating the schedule and publishing it to other parts of the application, such as the ASV and timesheet. The status is displayed in the top-right of the OTS edit screen.
This table lists all the possible statuses of an OTS and their significance in the OTS workflow.
Status | Description |
---|---|
UNPROCESSED | An OTS is in the UNPROCESSED status after it is first created. This status indicates the OTS has not yet been processed. In this status, the scheduler may plot shifts, specify labor metrics, and assign employees on rows to create the schedule. |
PENDING PROCESS | This status indicates that the OTS has been processed by the user. The OTS is currently waiting for the publishing jobs to complete the processing and publish the schedule to other parts of the application. The OTS is locked and cannot be edited when waiting for processing. |
PUBLISHED | This status indicates the latest version of the OTS has been
fully published and the shifts are available in the ASV and in employee timesheets.
The scheduler can make any changes to the OTS in this status, but the schedule must be
re-processed to put those changes into use. This status is only used if publishing has
been configured for OTS to create published shifts in the ASV and timesheet. See the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide for details on configuring OTS publishing. |
READY | This status indicates the latest version of the OTS has been
fully processed and the shifts are available in the ASV as unpublished shifts. The
shifts must be published in ASV to add them to employee timesheets. The scheduler can
make any changes to the OTS in this status, but the schedule must be re-processed to
put those changes into use. This status is only used if publishing has been configured
for OTS to create unpublished shifts in the ASV. See the Infor Workforce Management MVS Implementation and Administration Guide for details on configuring OTS publishing. |
PROCESS REQUIRED | This status indicates that changes have been made to the OTS since the last time the OTS was processed. The OTS must be processed again to publish those changes. |
One-time Schedule template status
OTS templates have statuses that show whether the OTS template can be used to create new
OTS schedules. This table lists all the possible statuses for OTS templates.
Status | Description |
---|---|
DRAFT | The OTS template has just been created and has not been activated. In this status, the scheduler can plot shifts and specify labor metrics on all the rows. The OTS template must be activated before it can be used to create new OTS schedules. |
ACTIVE | The OTS template has been activated and can be used to create new OTS schedules. The scheduler can edit shifts or labor metrics on the rows by creating new row versions. |
ACTIVE (INACTIVE) | The OTS template has been inactivated. Starting on the specified inactivation date, the OTS template cannot be used to create OTS schedules. |
