Copying an OTS template

Copying an OTS template creates a new OTS template from the shifts and labor metrics in the copied OTS template. The new OTS template is created for the same team as the original OTS template.

  1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > One-time Schedule > Manage One-time Schedule Templates.
  2. Click Edit for the OTS template you would like to copy.
  3. If the specified OTS template is in DRAFT status, it is displayed in the OTS edit screen. If the specified OTS template is in ACTIVE status, select a date range and click Go. This can be any date range between the effective start and end date of the OTS template.
  4. Click Copy.
  5. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the new OTS template.
    Description
    Optionally, specify a description for the new OTS template.
    Start Date
    Specify a start date when the new OTS template becomes effective.
    End Date
    Specify an end date, after which the new OTS template is no longer effective.
    Auto Row Naming
    Select the check box to automatically number rows based on the row order. Clear this check box to allow row names to be updated manually.
  6. Click Copy.
The new OTS template is created in DRAFT status and is now open in the OTS edit screen. You can edit the shifts and labor metrics in the OTS template as needed before activation.
