Payroll Based Journal Export Report
As part of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services
(CMS) requires long term care facilities to report direct care staffing information based on
payroll information.
You can now export the employee staffing information and hours required by CMS directly from the system. The exported reports display employee Hire and Termination dates, and any hours worked for the facility selected. This process outputs a Workmail message with an Excel formatted report for verification. An XML report is also attached to the Workmail message and can be uploaded to the PBJ system.
Note: To successfully run this report and obtain valid output, you must
first complete all the configuration steps outlined in the "Configuring MVS for the Payroll

Implementation and Administration Guide.
