Employee Call Pop-up

The Employee Call Pop-up (ECP) displays a number of options to record the results of contacting the employee. There are two sections to this screen: the Employee section and the Shifts and Reassign tabs section.

Employee section

The Employee section of the ECP displays this information:

  • Employee: Displays the employee’s name.
  • Job: Displays the employee’s job.
  • Telephone numbers: Displays the employee’s home, mobile, and other phone numbers. They must have been entered on the Employee panel.
  • Today’s Shift: Displays the shift worked today.
  • Yesterday’s Shift: Displays the shift worked yesterday.
  • Employee Comments: Enter comments made by employee when called.
  • Call Log Comments: Enter comments for the call log.
  • Availability Comments: Displays comments that were entered on the employee record.

At the top right of the Employee section are links to other pages:

  • Employee Profile: Navigates to the Employee profile page.
  • Availability: Displays the Employee’s Availability Calendar (from Availability Management) from here you can navigate to the Availability Pattern and Requests.
  • Shift Preference: Displays the employee's Shift Preference Override calendar.

  • Call Log: Displays the call log for this shift.

Shift tab

The Shift tab is also divided into sections:

  • Relief Block: Covers all shift activities.
  • Vacant : Only those activities that are vacant.
  • Shift activity details. Each shift activity

For each of these sections you have options for the employee:

  • Accept
  • RNN Relief Not Needed
  • RNF Relief Not Found
  • Reject
  • Reason for Reject

Reassign tab

The Reassign tab provides you with visibility into the employee's schedule around the days of the relief shifts being offered. You can choose to give up one or more of their existing shifts in order to accept the relief shifts being offered. These kinds of reassignments can prevent overtime or other schedule exceptions.

By default, the Reassign tab displays the employee's shift 5 days before the first day in the relief shifts being offered, and 5 days after the last day in the relief shifts being offered. This 5-day parameter can be updated if needed.
