CMS job title codes

Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) maintain a list of job title codes. These job title codes categorize jobs based on job function in the Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) for CMS report. WFM maintains job title codes as an optional field that is part of each job record. Before creating the PBJ report, each job worked by employees covered by the report must be associated with its equivalent job title code.

Job title codes can be included when importing job records using the Job Rate Import Interface. You can also manually map existing jobs to job title codes using the Payroll Based Journal Job Mapping maintenance form. When the PBJ report is created, the report output contains the CMS job title code instead of the WFM job information.

See "Job Rate Import Interface" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.

Note: The required job title codes are maintained by CMS and may be subject to change in the future. See https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/NursingHomeQualityInits/Staffing-Data-Submission-PBJ.html for details.
