Width of columns in MR and OTS edit screens

The width of each column in the Master Rotation (MR) and One-time Schedule (OTS) edit screens can be configured. Narrower columns allow more schedule days to be displayed without scrolling horizontally. Wider columns can display longer shift display labels, labor metrics, or other values without going into overflow.

The width of columns is configured in the Rotation Grid Column Width section of the Rotation Types page. The width can be set individually for each column, or column type, in pixels. Different column widths can be configured for MR or OTS.

The Cell Width option controls the width of shift cells. The default width of shift cells is set to 60 pixels. This allows shift labels up to five characters to be displayed in shift cells. Some trial and error may be required to determine the optimal width to fit longer or shorter shift labels while showing as much of the schedule as possible.

This table lists the columns and the default widths for each column. Note that the option names share the same localization as the columns in the MR and OTS edit screens, so the option names may vary depending on the localization set in your environment.
