Defining facilities

You must complete the implementation steps in this procedure before running the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report in WFM. For more information on running the report, see Infor Workforce Management MVS User Guide.

Facilities defined in WFM provide information about the physical location of the WFM jobs for the Payroll Based Journal Export for CMS report. After facilities are defined, you can associate facilities with teams defined in WFM.

This information can also be helpful for large organizations that span multiple states and countries. It can help to identify where teams belong and create reports based on specific locations and teams.

To define facilities:

  1. Select Scheduling > Multi-view Scheduler > Advanced Settings > ES Data Definition > Facility Mapping.
  2. Select Create New Entry.
  3. Specify this information:
    Facility Name
    Name of the facility.
    Facility Description
    Description of Facility
    Facility ID
    ID of facility that is sent to CMS on the report.
    State Code
    Abbreviation of the state in which the Facility is located (for example, MD for Maryland).
  4. Click Save.
