Overriding the schedule period of a team

When a team is created, the team inherits the schedule period of its parent team if the Apply to Sub Teams check box is selected in the parent team. If the new team does not inherit a schedule period from a team higher in the hierarchy, the default schedule period is used. You can override the inherited schedule period or default schedule period of a team, if needed.

Note: A team can be associated with only one schedule period at any time.
  1. Select Maintenance > Security > Team Security > Team.
  2. Click Edit beside the team you want to override the schedule period of.
  3. Navigate to the Team Schedule Period section.
If this team is inheriting a schedule period from a team higher in the hierarchy, that team is displayed in the Inherited From column.
  4. Specify this information:
    Schedule Period
Select a different schedule period to override the schedule period for this team.
    Apply to Sub Teams
Select this option to apply this schedule period to any sub teams of this team.
  5. Click Save.
As this team is no longer inheriting a schedule period from a team higher in the hierarchy, the Inherited From column is blank.
