Key Components

These components are used with stores:

Name/Store
The unique name for the store.
Corporate Entity
The parent location to which the store belongs. This lookup only allows you to select a corporate entity.
Description
A brief description of the store.
Team
The team associated with this store location, used for establishing user access.
Start Day
The day of the week that constitutes the start day for the store.
Budget Type
Select one of these budget types to specify the source of budget information (typically, dollars or hours) that is required for a store when schedule creation is constrained by a budget:
  • None - to indicate that no budget type is used.
  • Hours* - to indicate that the budget (in hours) is derived from the forecast.
  • Payroll as a % of revenue - to indicate that the budget (in dollars) is derived from a percentage of the forecast revenue.
  • FTEs* - to indicate that the budget is derived using the number of full-time equivalents (FTEs) that may be applied.
  • Payroll cost per volume unit - to indicate that the budget is derived from a fixed cost per unit.
  • Dept Labor Budgeting - to indicate that budget information (based on weekly payroll numbers) is derived from the Labor Budgeting module, at the department level.
  • Dept External Sources - to indicate that budget information (based on dollars) is derived from an external source, at the department level.
  • Dept External Sources Hours* - to indicate that budget information (based on hours) is derived from an external source, at the department level.
  • Store Labor Budgeting* - to indicate that budget information (based on weekly payroll numbers) is derived from the Labor Budgeting module, at the store level.

    Set to Store Labor Budgeting to configure LFSO to use the payroll dollars from the Labor Budgeting module as a scheduling constraint.

  • Store External Sources - to indicate that budget information (based on dollars) is derived from an external source, at the store level.
  • Store External Source Hours* - to indicate that budget information (based on hours) is derived from an external source, at the store level.

Location Type
The location type of the entity, which is typically store.
External ID
An identifier for the store that is used to load data from an external system.
