Reporting Currency configuration overview

Specifies the currency that is used in operational reporting and analytics. For example, you can configure the German locale so that German users can generate reports in the Euro (EUR) currency. This setting is not used in other areas of the application.

When changing the reporting currency of a locale, you can only choose from target currencies that are in all currency conversion groups. The system checks the source currency in pay groups to look for the respective conversions.

For example, assume that the currency in a pay group is set to USD and a conversion from CAD to EUR is defined in the associated conversion group. With this configuration, you cannot select EUR as the reporting currency for a locale because there is no conversion from USD to EUR. Only after adding the conversion from USD to EUR to the associated conversion group can EUR be selected in the Reporting Currency lookup.

For more information on currencies and conversion groups, see "Payroll Settings" in the Infor Workforce Management Time and Attendance Implementation and Administration Guide.
