Warning users about balance violations when submitting timesheets

You can configure the timesheet to show balance violations in an alert whenever a timesheet that results in balance violations is submitted. In addition, you can configure the timesheet to cancel the overrides that caused the balance violations instead of placing the days with balance violations in error.

To warn users about balance violations when submitting timesheets, set the SHOW_BALANCE_VIOLATIONS registry parameter to true. With this setting, you can configure the OVERRIDE_TYPES_TO_CANCEL_ON_BALANCE_VIOLATION registry parameter to cancel the overrides that caused the balance violations.

Note: The SHOW_BALANCE_VIOLATIONS registry is effective only when the TS_PRE_APPLY_FUTURE_BAL registry is set to false.
