Adding Clock Readers
Each WB6000 Series Clock that you install must have a corresponding clock reader in the WFM application.
To add clock readers:
- Select Maintenance > Reader Setup > Readers.

Create New Entry.
The Readers Detail page is displayed.

Specify the clock reader's name in the
Reader field.
This name is required for configuring Web Services on the clock.
- Specify a description of the clock, such as the physical location, in the Description field.
- Select the reader group to which the WB6000 belongs using the Reader Group lookup.
- Specify the IP or MAC address of the clock in the IP Address field.
- Specify 0 in the Reader Zone field that represents the clock's area. This field is required by the WFM application, although for the WB6000 this field can be 0.
- Select the clock reader's time zone using the Time Zone lookup.
- If the WB6000 is in Basic Mode, specify the full path of the directory on the WBCS in which the WB6000 program file is stored, in the Download File field.
- For WB6000 Series Clocks in Basic Mode, specify ATS in the Reader Type field.
- Click Save.

Ensure the message
Your changes have been saved is displayed.
Note: The fields on the Readers Detail page not mentioned in these steps are not applicable to the WB6000.
