Schedule compliance

Schedule compliance can ensure that Auto-Assignment schedules comply with company policies and labor regulations after schedule generation. Schedule compliance can prevent users from making manual edits to generated schedules that violate scheduling rules. We recommend selecting Auto-Assignment rules that align with schedule compliance rules to ensure compliance throughout the schedule life-cycle.

When generating MVS schedules, Auto-Assignment does not assign shifts that would trigger schedule compliance errors. Auto-Assignment may assign shifts that would cause schedule compliance warnings. It is important to note that shifts causing error violations are unassigned after schedule generation is completed. This can cause a less than optimal schedule result, but it can be avoided by designing Auto-Assignment rules to avoid causing schedule compliance errors.

After generating LFSO schedules, Auto-Assignment runs schedule compliance. The LFSO Schedule screen displays schedule compliance violations caused by the generated schedule. Schedule compliance is run both when generating schedules for the first time and when regenerating schedules. Auto-Assignment may create schedules in LFSO that cause schedule compliance warnings or errors if Auto-Assignment rules are not configured to prevent schedule compliance violations.
