Sending the initial data load

To perform an initial data load into BODs that are placed in the message outbox:

  1. In Workforce Management, select Maintenance > System Administration > ION > IMS Document Name Configuration.
  2. Ensure that the Send Document and Send Document Enabled options are selected for any outbound BODs that you want Workforce Management to send.

  3. Select Maintenance > System Administration > Job Scheduler.
  4. Start the IMS Bod Publishing task. This task is used to publish all outbound BODs that WFM is configured to send. For example, security group information to Infor Ming.le.
    By default, this task is set to run every 30 seconds, which is the recommended frequency.
  5. Start the IMS Publishing Retry task. This task is used to retry publishing BODs that failed to publish.
    By default, this task is set to run every 30 seconds, which is the recommended frequency.
After the initial data load, Workforce Management sends BOD updates when users change certain data or when certain transactions occur in Workforce Management.
