Purging delete history records for data replication

Delete history tracking is enabled the first time the Data Replication task starts (if not already enabled by the IMS Bod Publishing task). As a result, when any record is deleted from a table that supports data replication, the ID of the deleted record is stored in a delete history table. Any record that is deleted from an archive table that supports data replication is also tracked in an archive delete history table.

These delete history records must be purged after a few days.

To purge these records, the WB DELETE HISTORY DATA and WB ARCHIVE DELETE HISTORY DATA policies must be added to the Archive Task. If an Archive Task does not exist, a new task should be created.

See "Archiving" in the Infor Workforce Management Application Configuration Guide.

Note: The delete history purge task should not be enabled until after the initial data replication has completed. For deployments that already have WFM data when data replication is enabled, the initial data replication may take a long time to run depending on how much data needs to be replicated. The delete history records must be retained until after the incremental replication starts.
