Roll back the migration

  1. Launch the Migration Tool.
  2. In the Select Action page, select Verify Migration Transactions and then click Next.
  3. From the Destination Database drop-down list of the Connect to Database page, select the destination database.
  4. In the Password field, specify the database password for the source database.
  5. Click Next.
    The destination database that you have successfully connected to is listed in the status bar near the top of the Migration Tool page.
  6. In the Migration Transactions screen, click the record belonging to the migration that you want to roll back.
  7. Optionally, click View Rollback Content to view Rollback Report details. The report contains the reverse information from the Migrated Data File.
  8. Click Next > Rollback.
  9. In the User Name field of the Export Rollback Details screen, specify your name.
  10. In the Purpose field, specify the reason for the rollback.
    Once the rollback has successfully finished, the following message is displayed: Data was successfully rolled back to <database name>.
  11. Optionally, click View Rolled Back Data to view the rolled back data report.
  12. Optionally, click Rollback Another Transaction to return to the Migration Transactions screen to roll back another transaction.
