Proxy user permissions

Proxying users emulate the security group access of the users they become. For example, User A has been given permission to proxy User B. User A belongs to the Supervisor security group, and User B belongs to the System Administrator security group. When User A proxies User B, then User A becomes User B. This proxy role allows User A to perform tasks that the System Administrator security group has permission to perform.
