File Transfer Task

This feature is deprecated as of the current release
of WFM. In addition, this task should only be used when FTP is required. If SFTP is
required, you must use the Secure File Transfer Task. For more information, see Secure File Transfer Task.
The File Transfer Task allows you to transfer files to a specified domain/server using a pre-configured FTP/SFTP server. If you choose to transfer the files with SFTP, SSH will be used.
You can schedule the File Transfer Task to transfer transaction files from the external system to the WFM application (import) or send files from the application to the external system (export).
Note: Before scheduling this task, you must configure an FTP/SFTP server that is accessible by
the Workforce Management application. Consult your FTP/SFTP vendor documentation for
information on how to do this.
